     Nitro-Bits®, a division of Metal Finishing Co. Inc., was founded in 1999 after receiving much positive feedback about an exciting new cryogenic process which MFCO began offering earlier that year.

     Though the benefits of subjecting steel to sub-300F degree temperatures has been known for quite some time, it was not until NASA began researching this process for the space program that procedures were developed which optimized the process and provided maximum strength and durability to steel.

     At Nitro-Bits®, we utilize the same space-age technology developed by NASA to produce the strongest and most durable drill bits on the market today.

     Since our inception, our goal at Nitro-Bits® has been to provide machinists, carpenters, and home-owners alike with a superior product produced by one-of-a-kind technology.
