commercial operation in 1940 and has been owned by the Babst family (Robert H.
Babst, President/CEO) since its inception. The company has been a stable source
for aerospace finishing and inspection for nearly seven decades.

providing full service Chemical

MFCO North
providing full service Non-Destructive
Testing
Diversified Services, Inc.
(Wellington, KS), providing Chemical Processing,
Non-Destructive Testing and Shotpeening of large aluminum parts up to 80 feet
long.
Cryogenics
providing cryogenic treatment of customer tooling
and materials.
Flame Spray
providing Plasma, HVOF, Wire Arc and Combustion
Arc methods, as well as a full service coatings test lab.
The operations offered at
Metal Finishing Company are performed in eight separate buildings consisting of
over 300,000 sq. feet of processing space. The buildings are enveloped between
1329 to 1441 South McLean Blvd. and 1448 S. Osage in Wichita, Kansas. The
operations offered at Diversified Services, Inc. are performed in one facility
consisting of over 58,000 sq/feet located at 27 Clark Ave. in Wellington,
KS.
We also provide services for
