Wichita, KS, August 31, 2006 -
Metal Finishing Co., the Midwests premier plating shop, today announced
that it has received an AS9100 and ISO 9000:2000 certification. This
distinction means that an independent evaluation has certified Metal Finishing
Companys quality control and plating processes. The International
Organization for Standardization (ISO) is an international committee that has
compiled sets of rules or regulations for the way companies operate and for the
records they keep on their manufacturing processes. By following a set of
rules, a company helps ensure that it consistently produces quality processes,
every time. This assures customers that they can depend on getting the
same-quality processes now and in the future. Metal Finishing Company chose PRI
Resistrar as registrar.
Obtaining an ISO certification assures
Metal Finishings already competitive edge in the industry, said Mr.
Rob Babst, President of Metal Finishing We were already compliant with
the Nadcap Quality Standards, so this ISO certification is further proof of our
commitment to provide consistent, quality processes for our customers, and that
we have the ability to meet our customers needs.

achievement of this certification further demonstrates our commitment to
provide the highest quality processing service to our customers, said Jim
Cummings, Vice President of Quality Assurance. I am extremely proud of
all of the individuals production, administrative and management
